Japanese Cabbage Salad
Cut into slices and bite sized smaller bits.
Japanese cabbage salad. Note if you only have whole almonds you can use a food processor to grind them into smaller chunks. Add next 6 ingredients. Keep in a serving bowl. Mix all the dressing ingredients together.
Ingredients 3 tablespoons sesame oil 3 tablespoons rice vinegar 1 clove garlic minced 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger root 1 tablespoon white sugar 1 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon black pepper large head cabbage cored and shredded 1 bunch green onions thinly sliced 1 cup almond slivers cup toasted. Step 2 toss cabbage with dressing and serve garnished with sesame seeds. I like to use a dressing shaker. 1 gather all the ingredients.
1 teaspoon granulated sugar 2 teaspoons light soy sauce 1 teaspoon canola oil 2 12 tablespoons rice wine vinegar 1 stalk scallion finely chopped. Instructions wash your cabbage well and discard the outer leaves. Directions put first 7 ingredients into large bowl. Just before serving break up instant noodles.
In a large bowl whisk together miso paste soy sauce lime zest and juice rice wine vinegar sesame oil and safflower oil. 2 shred cabbage with a shredder and transfer to serving plate. Sprinkle with chow mein noodles. 4 finely chop green onions and sprinkle on top of the cabbage.
